This Privacy Policy explains what information Primal Hosted LLC (“Primal Hosted”, “we”, “us”) collects when you use our hosting platform, community websites (*.primalhosted.com and connected custom domains), and our Discord application and bot (together, the “Service”), and how we use and protect it.
Who we are
The Service is operated by Primal Hosted LLC, the legal publisher of our hosting and software products. Mailing address: [added on final LLC filing]. We provide game-server hosting and community tools (websites, a Discord bot, and in-game integrations) to community operators (“Communities”) and their members (“Players”). Information we collect
- Discord account data — when you choose to link Discord, we receive your Discord user ID, username, and avatar (OAuth
identify scope). If you are a member of a Community’s Discord server, our bot processes your server membership, roles, and the messages you send to it via its commands (e.g. opening a support ticket).
- Steam account data — when you sign in with Steam, we receive your public SteamID64, persona (display) name, and avatar via Steam OpenID and the Steam Web API.
- Community / gameplay data — for Communities you play on, we store data such as points/economy balances and history, playtime, in-game events, moderation records (warnings, bans), and support tickets, scoped to that Community’s server.
- Transaction data — if you make a purchase, our payment processor (Stripe) handles your card details; we retain a record of the order (item, amount, status). We never store full card numbers.
- Technical data — IP address and basic request metadata, used for security, abuse prevention, and delivering the Service (processed in part by Cloudflare).
How we use it
- To provide the Service — link your accounts, show your profile, run community features (economy, tickets, roles, leaderboards), and deliver purchases.
- To keep the Service secure and prevent abuse, fraud, and ban evasion.
- To operate the Discord bot’s functions you and your Community enable.
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it for advertising.
Who can see your data
- Community operators — the staff of a Community you play on can see the data associated with your play on that Community (e.g. your linked IDs, points, moderation history) in order to run their server.
- Service providers — Discord, Steam/Valve, Cloudflare, and Stripe process data on our behalf as needed to provide the Service, under their own terms.
- Legal — we may disclose data where required by law.
Data retention
We keep your data while your account/linkage is active and as needed to provide the Service. You may request deletion of your personal data (see below); some records may be retained where required for security, fraud prevention, or legal obligations.
Your choices & rights
- You can unlink Discord or Steam at any time from your account page.
- You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data by contacting support@primalhosted.com.
Children
The Service is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required by Discord and applicable law in your region). Do not use the Service if you are under that age.
Changes
We may update this policy; material changes will be posted here with a new “last updated” date.
