You can still run a The Isle: Legacy server. Primal Hosted hosts Legacy on the same platform as Evrima, with proximity chat and server mods. Legacy is not in self-serve checkout: it is set up by contacting support, and it is priced per server.
Why Legacy goes through support
Legacy servers differ more from one another than Evrima servers do: which mods they run, which systems the community expects, and how the players are used to the map working. Rather than force that into a checkout form, we set each one up with the owner. Tell us what you run today, or what you want to run, and we quote it.
Our own team runs Legacy in production, so we know the build's quirks from the operator's side.
What a Legacy server gets
- A dedicated server on our own hardware and network, set up and run by us.
- Proximity chat and server mods, which is how the order page describes the Legacy option.
- DDoS protection, as on every server.
Which community features apply to a Legacy server depends on its setup. Ask us, and we will tell you plainly what works.
How to get a Legacy server
- Email support@primalhosted.com or open a ticket in our Discord.
- Tell us your expected player count, your region, and the mods or systems you need.
- We quote a monthly price and set the server up with you.
Legacy questions
Can you still run a The Isle Legacy server in 2026?
Yes. The Legacy build still runs as a dedicated server, and Primal Hosted hosts it. It is set up through support rather than self-serve checkout.
How much does a Legacy server cost?
Legacy is priced per server, because setups vary. Contact support with your player count, region and mods for a quote. For comparison, Evrima servers start at $80 a month for 150 players.
Does a Legacy server get proximity chat?
Yes. The order page lists Legacy as the 2018 build with proximity chat and server mods.
